The poor mans meditations and contemplations upon various subjects both of a temporal and of a spirirual nature, [late 17th century].

Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, of a religious meditation on such subjects as the love of Christ, the particular difficulties of the rich and poor man in achieving heaven, and the different practices of, and quarrels among, the Church of England, Presbyterians, and Baptists. The text is prefaced by an exhortation to the Christian reader to the "duty of Divine meditation," followed by a poem on religious meditation.
